Cricket World Cup 2023

Cricket World Cup, 2023

Cricket World Cup 2023 will be the 13th edition of this mega sporting event, scheduled to be hosted by India. It will be held from 9 February to 26 March 2023. This is the first time that India will host the competition completely. Three previous editions were partially hosted by India in 1987, 1996, and 2011. Similar to the 2019 edition, tournament will feature same format of 10 team Round Robin league. The main route for qualification will be the 2020–22 Cricket World Cup Super League tournament.

The top seven sides and India (the hosts) from the thirteen competitors in the League will automatically qualify in the tournament. Remaining five teams will play in the 2022 Cricket World Cup Qualifier, from which two sides will go through to the final tournament.
